Today I have a little idea for you to munch on. It probably has potential as a poem, but this is just the raw material.
Only a stone heart cannot be broken.
Stone hearts are so much prettier than hearts of flesh, especially if they are polished and painted with care.
However, flesh hearts can still function, pumping blood and true life.
It’s easy to break a flesh heart.
The only way to find out if a heart is stone is to scratch it up. That takes courage. And then, the paint chips off.
The question still remains. Is having a stone heart really worth the consequences?
