Contrary to popular belief, I sometimes have no purpose to what I do. Here are some examples of purposeless drawings. Advertisements
The title says it all. Anyway, here. In other news: I have a YA book review coming up. Sorry I haven’t posted much lately. I haven’t totally forgotten about this blog (trust me*). *Or don’t.
Introducing my obsession. If you have read my most recent post, you know that my latest obsession is a new style I have developed. Here are some photos of the different stages of this style: (First, the finished product)
I don’t have much of an introduction, but here goes. I drew this piece with a humble #2 pencil. It started as an experiment with how to draw cupped hands, but I figured halfway that I could experiment with drawing water as well. On Saturday, my family and I went to an Art festival. One artist painted giant faces in unnatural colors. The paintings inspired me to draw this blue girl. P.S. I’m sorry it’s not bigger, I still need to figure this out.
One of my few obsessions is drawing eyes. This is the first eye I have to post, but there Gould be more coming soon.
